Little Wing

Heavy paint splatters break across the surface and leave thin drips running down the shirt and guitar. The face is built with sharp gray and black shapes, then cut back by bright bands of color at the headband and jacket. Edges stay hard in the figure and rough in the surrounding marks, so the surface shifts between clean outlines and sprayed residue. The bright guitar body is pulled into the same treatment, with drips crossing the neck and lower edge. Jimi Hendrix Tribute
